In honor of my last week living in LA, I thought I would share my top five favorite things to do in LA.  It is hard to believe I have been living in Beverly Hills for almost 2.5 years.  I moved up here from Newport Beach to get a change of pace and scenery for work and life and LA gave me just that.  I made some great friends, learned how to live in a city, and found some great spots in my neighborhood that I will always love.  I also learned that I could not live with air conditioning ever again. I had the best little apartment which was a cool old Spanish inspired space that had been gutted and remodeled and it was absolute perfection.

This next week is a little bittersweet for me.  I am ready to begin a new chapter back down in Newport Beach, and see what excitement that brings my way.  That being said, I will miss my favorite things about LA.

  1. Blue Bottle Coffee – If you don’t know, now you know.  This is my absolute favorite spot for coffee.  The iced almond milk latte is what dreams are made of and it is literally the thing I will miss most about LA.  I am thinking I may need to call their corporate office and see what I need to do to get one to open up down in Newport.
  2. Wallys– Where everybody knows your name… Just kidding but seriously this is the best neighborhood spot in BH.  I love ordering a glass of wine and a cheese board and sitting outside people watching.
  3. Soho House Malibu aka Little Beach House – So many fun memories here, not to mention the most gorgeous view.  I love going here for an afternoon and catching up with girlfriends while having a nibble and cocktailing.
  4. Eden Sassoon Pilates and Physique 57– These two workouts alone are my absolute favorite and I have been addicted since I moved here.  Pilates and barre are literally the best leaning and toning workouts for women’s bodies and I swear by them.  I will miss them both dearly however I won’t miss the difficult parking.
  5. Beverly Hills Hotel– This iconic spot is such a fun place to visit and hang by the pool or just have brunch or a drink in the Polo Lounge (they have the yummiest brunch).  I will always love this classic haunt and I think I am most sad about this no longer being a mile away from my apartment.

Wish me luck this next week with my move.  8 days and counting…
