Since we are going to get another three days of rain this week, I thought I would share some of my favorite rainy day activities to do!

1. Bowling– It might not be groundbreaking but let me tell you, it is so much fun! We have been getting a good group together the last few rainy days, and it has been amazing. I also have no idea where my bowling skills have come from but they have been in full force these past few times and I am not mad about it.

2. Playing Games– I have to say, backgammon, has become a favorite of mine and I used to play it as a little girl with my grandfather. It wasn’t until B and I started dating that I got back into it and I love it. It is so much fun to get a little competitive and it is perfect to do on a rainy day inside. Just add takeout and a little wine and you’ll forget all about the rain.

3. Movie Day– Whether you go to a movie at the theater, or have a movie day/binge watch a tv show, nothing beats a chill day on the sofa watching something great. I am pretty sure I watched the entire first and second season of Ozark during a rainy weekend once and it was one of my favorite weekends.

4. Getting Organized– This might sound weird but I love going through my closet and throwing out things/organizing my cosmetic drawers, papers, anything really. It feels so good to purge and I have been really into this whole Marie Kondo way of life and its the perfect task to tackle on a rainy day.

5. Wine and Paint Night– If you follow me on instagram (@jenniferglifestyle) then you know I am super into painting classes. Not only are they so much fun to do with a significant other or friend, but you can also enjoy wine while you paint. Classes are usually 2-3 hours long and totally worth it.

Needless to say, I have a newfound love for rainy days and hope you do too!
