Last week I made the trek up to Apple Valley to get some of the best apples I have ever had. They actually tasted like candy they were so delicious. It was such an adventure and I had the best time exploring an orchard filled land. It felt like a large farmers market and I got tons of apples and apple butter. Needless to say when I got home I began researching recipes for tons of apple dishes and decided on an apple crisp which is actually super easy to make. Of course I ended up going with a Martha Stewart recipe which is to die for, and with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top, it makes for the most decadent of fall treats. Side note, I highly recommend making it in these little Le Creuset mini cocottes because it makes them look and feel so much more festive! What is your favorite fall treat?
