How to dress for spring when it is still cold out you ask?? Well I have been wanting all things spring for some time now and the weather just has not been cooperating with me. I literally am counting the seconds to shed my sweaters and jackets and replace them with sundresses and sandals… But since we are in the first day of March and the warm weather is around the corner but not quite here (sun, can you just hurry the heck up already?), I am talking about how to get a spring-ish look while still keeping warm in the cold.

I snagged this silky skirt at Neimans a few weeks back and it is on crazy sale right now so run don’t walk if you like it. I have already worn it so many times and get compliments on it on the regular. I even wore it in Hawaii with a pair of flat sandals and a tee. Here, I paired it with an older but very loved sweater so I linked to a similar one above. A good pump is obviously a classic staple and these leopard ones have been on a heavy rotation for me since September and I love them just as much now as I did then. They are also insanely comfortable so that is a huge bonus.

Another thing I love is a small handbag that carries everything I need and doesn’t weigh me down and this pouch is a little bit of a splurge but holds all of my credit cards, keys, phone, and lipstick in the easiest way and I find myself using this daily (even at the gym to carry essentials, as well as evenings out! It has been well worth the purchase for me and it will carry into spring and summer as well.

That being said, it is supposed to rain all weekend and next week here so I am bracing for that. I like the rain but I am ready for it to stop now. 😉 B and I don’t have any big plans this weekend which will be nice because we had quite the busy week! What are you up to this weekend?
